According to the organisers, Education Week provided a forum for everyone involved in education, from government to private companies, FET colleges, universities, publishers, e-learning organisations and many more. Delegates had the opportunity to learn from, share and be inspired by their peers. Mindset Learn was at the conference to exhibit partnership work with UniForum and NetDay, and to tell the CA.ZA Cares Story.

The Story was witnessed by about 400 delegates who attended the conference. The partnership provides ICT solutions for rural schools and provides access to computer assisted learning. CO.ZA Cares employs NetDay to install computer equipment, software and networking in schools and make use of Mindset Learn multi-media content and satellite broadcast programmes. Thus far, the project installed more than 2300 computers in 100 schools computer labs and trained over 1700 teachers in seven South African provinces.

The exhibition stand was designed to attract delegates and to give them opportunity to interact with Mindset Learn content that was loaded on two computers available for visitors.

Apart from the exhibition stand, Mindset Learn presence at the conference was enhanced through the partnership with conference organisers. The agreement enabled all delegates to leave with Mindset Learn promotional CD, which were inserted in their registration bags.

On the last day of the conference, Mindset Learn gave an important presentation to teachers on "the use of video in the class room". The presentation by Tebalo Tsatsi, Mindset Learn Trainer provided a step-by-step formula on how teachers can employ ICTs at their schools.
