In this lesson we give learners guidelines to follow when answering questions about diction in tests or exams.
After you have shown this lesson to your learners, follow it up with a comprehension exercise that focuses on
the diction used in a passage. This will provide useful re-enforcement, and it will also enable learners to see
how individual words fit into a whole article or a longer extract rather than the short examples we show in the
lesson.
