Lesson 4 starts by giving the answers to the task from Lesson 3. It is important that you check that learners
have completed this task before watching this lesson. It is also important for learners to record their
observations while watching the video, as they did in Lesson 3.
In this lesson we show how some oxides of non-metals are dissolved in water. The solution formed is tested
using an indicator. All the non-metal oxides are acidic. This lesson shows learners how to balance more difficult
equations.
