This series of eight lessons deals with reading between the lines, in other words, learning how to interpret what one reads according to what facts have been selected, what opinions are indicated, what information is stressed or left out, and what is dealt with as less important. The learner is trained to read not only what is given to him or her in terms of content, but also what is more subtly indicated. After watching these lessons, your learners will be better able to work out what someone really means, by not only considering the words that a person has used, but also his or her underlying attitude or way of presenting the information.
