Studying texts
Part of the series : Making Meaning
Novels, magazines and plays are all texts and so are
passages taken from these texts. Photographs, cartoons,
graphs and films are also examples of texts. In order to
interpret these types of ‘texts’, we need to ‘read’ them in
a way that will enable us to interpret and understand them.
In this lesson, we will be looking at some general skills
that you can use to interpret any text.
